FMCV is passionate about driving industry standards through placing quality people in the right jobs. We want to work with our candidates, using a number of methods to help seek out and secure the ideal sales or management position. We don’t want to meet expectations. We want to WOW you!!
In today’s highly cut-throat environment, world class organisations realise that their people and not their products give them the real competitive edge. Recognition that the nurturing of talent is the key way to giving them that critical advantage is paramount to their continuing growth.
Simon joined Grand Metropolitan straight from school and spent 15 years in the wine and spirit trade. After 5 years running a sector of their retail division Simon left to set up Hardy Wines in the UK. For the last 10 years he has been working in the food service industry. In 1996 Simon launched the UK operation of Zanussi’s flourishing vending division and after several successful years with the Electrolux group joined Crane, the American conglomerate, to run their European division.
Throughout his 24 year career in the food and beverage industry Simon has always maintained a passion for people. In FMCV he has started a business which will allow him to use that passion to the full.
Anthony was the the first person to join FMCV in June 2005. After a very successful career of 7 years with Robert Half, the world's leading specialist in financial recruitment, Anthony joined the young up and coming RPO specialist Capital Consulting.
Working in-house with KPMG and Dell over the last two years has given Anthony an insight into how a recruitment company can partner with companies in order to provide innovative solutions along with the very highest level of customer service.
A shareholder in FMCV, Anthony's wealth of recruitment experience is a key component in the FMCV offering.
True partnership requires perfect balance.
We believe it is essential we understand your business first. Your culture, your expectations and your long term goals. We want to be able to match, absolutely, your needs and the candidate's attributes. Meeting the potential candidates, getting them tested to make sure their skills and attributes fit the role. Ensuring their aspirations are manageable. The organisation you choose to help find your next generation of superstars talk to a lot of people. We at FMCV take that whole PR exercise on as part of the job and hope it adds real value.
Creating the right openings.
Due to the respect we already command within the marketplace as specialists, combined with our pro-active approach, we are able to open extra doors for candidates which may otherwise have been closed. Having spent 10 years at the top of the foodservice sector, people listen to us. In the eyes of our candidates, it is this ability to get them in front of key decision makers that they would not normally have the chance of meeting with that sets us apart from our competitors. Your next career move is being handled by an expert from within the industry.
