James started his career in the sales department of Kerry Ingredients, Dairy Division, having graduated with a degree in Marketing with French. After 4 and a half years of selling industrial cheese to the UK and Europe he moved into the world of recruitment, working in the media, sales and hospitality industry, latterly setting up and running a hotel division.
After years of hard graft, he took a leap of faith and joined the vending legend that is Simon Willis with the aim of helping revolutionise the vending recruitment industry. Although happy to work on any role, James focuses heavily on operational and technical recruitment, from vending operators and field service engineers, to operations managers and technical/service managers. With first hand experience of what an operator does (he spent a day out in the field as one), he'd like to think he knows what makes a good one.
